Food safety management systems

International law and the law in Romania for food industry, provides for all units involved in the whole food chain, from primary producers to food sale (production, transportation, storage, service and food trade) the application of principles specific to the food safety management system based on risk assessment and prevention (HACCP - Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point). The promotion and application of these principles within the organization, represents the most on hand way to ensure adequate conditions for obtaining safe food products for the user / consumer.

ISO 22000 is an international standard designed to ensure food safety. Developed with the participation of specialists in food, ISO 22000 includes the HACCP principles and integrates the requirements for ensuring the functioning of the food safety management system.
